Jessica Rassy is an adjunct professor at the School of Nursing in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Université de Sherbrooke (Longueuil campus). She has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Nursing from Université de Montréal and obtained a doctorate in Clinical Sciences from Université de Sherbrooke in June 2017. Her doctorate focused on how adolescents at risk of suicide use information and communications technologies (ICTs) to get help. She also worked as a child psychiatry nurse for several years at Hôpital Rivière-des-Prairies. Her research interests centre on suicide prevention among adolescents, the protective factors of suicide, ICTs and suicide prevention, and nursing and suicide.
