Gabrielle Michaud-Dumont

Gabrielle Michaud-Dumont is a direct PhD student (doctorat continuum d’études) in Psychology (intervention) at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Université de Sherbrooke. Her doctoral thesis, under the direction of Professor Sylvie Lapierre, is on the impact of elder suicide on children and grandchildren.. On the clinical side, she was a listening and coaching volunteer for a telephone help line for close to two years. She also worked as a volunteer providing support to seniors, in a community organization and in long-term care facilities.
