Angelo Soares
Angelo Soares is a full professor in the Department of Organization and Human Resources at the School of Sciences and Management at Université du Québec à Montréal. He conducts research on psychological harassment, emotions, and mental health and suicide in the workplace. He was invited to sit as an expert on the interministerial committee on psychological harassment in the workplace, led by Québec’s Ministère du Travail, and the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology – mental health, mental illness and substance abuse (Senate, Ottawa). He is a founding member of the International Association on Workplace Bullying and Harassment. He was a visiting researcher at the National Council for Scientific Research, in Paris, and a visiting professor at several universities in Brazil and, more recently, at the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He is also a member of the Institut Santé et Société, CRISE and the Institut de Recherches féministes.
