Résumé

An important help that can be given to survivors is offered by peers, who are also survivors with the same kind of experience, with a willingness to help their fellows. Being able to speak about one's own sufferings and thoughts with others who have already experienced the same feelings and have managed to overcome the serious difficulties, allows survivors experiencing traumatic bereavement to feel understood and be able to think about the future even without the loved one.
