Résumé

Based on 50 inteviews with people bereaved by suicide in Switzerland, this chapter presents findings on how the bereaved dealt with the issue of responsiblity both with themselves--for example, feeling of guilt and self-accusation--and in social relations--for example, other's attribution of responsibility and societal reaction following the suicide.
