Denmark--Support for the bereaved by suicide

The aim of this chapter is to describe the support that is available to those bereaved by suicide in Denmark. Both public health care and volunteer organizations provide support to the bereaved by suicide. The offers range from professional therapy to café meetings and seminars. Still, Danish register-based studies have found that people bereaved by suicide have elevated risks of adverse outcomes, such as suicide.
