Priorities of suicide survivor support groups in Japan and the United States

Résumé

Support group facilitators in different nations may prioritize their group functions differently. As a result, support groups may operate differently across countries. The present study approached this question through a survey of Japanese (n=56) and US (n=59) support group facilitators, based on Shulman's (2006) principles of mutual support.
