USA--Collaboration of volunteers and professionals in suicide bereavement support: The EMPACT experience

This chapter will highlight a collaborative postvention model that has been sustained for the past 28 years in Arizona (USA) at EMPACT--Suicide Prevention Center. This model utilizes volunteers who have been bereaved by suicide as a primary resource. The chapter reviews key components and outcomes of this model, demonstrating program effectiveness.
